Hi Lynn,
Heard your comments on the performance of the Irving Police Dept. today
and it really kind of hit home with me. I'm sick of hearing about charges
of racial profiling, and I am married to a minority (Asian). The Irving
PD has a favorable place in my mind because they caught a young thief who
committed identity theft on my wife by having her boyfriend drive her car
into my wife's car in the Belton WalMart parking lot. They did just
enough damage that my wife was all upset and they got the chance to see
my wife's drivers license from which the young thief copied the number,
birthdate, address, etc. She wrote about 6 phony checks using the data
she got from the drivers license, in December of last year and I'm still
trying to take care of all the consequences. The young thief is
Caucasian, and she and her boyfriend were stopped by the cops for a
traffic violation, and I'm happy they stopped her.

Best Regards, Allen

Good Morning Lynn,
I am a regular listener of the first hour of your program. Unfortunately I typically can't listen to any more than that because I can't listen to radio at work.

Anyway, I agree totally with everything you said regarding Al Gore and global warming this morning. But I would like to suggest that you always prominently emphasize two things when you talk about Al Gore and global warming. Number one, Al Gore is NOT a scientist, he is not a climatologist, he is not even a meteorologist. As such, he has little or no credibility to be presenting himself as an authority on such a massively complex subject as climate change. Number two, the critical issue is NOT that we are apparently experiencing climate change. In my view, climate change is definitely happening. But as you pointed out, climate change has happened many many times in the history of the earth. Climate change is not the central issue in this debate. The central issue IS, are greenhouse gases a contributing factor in the global warming that we seem to be experiencing. That's the isse. And on that issue the legitimate scientific community is split, as you well know.

I was at the rumble at the ranch. Except for the thunderstorms, it was a great day.

Thank You!!!!!
Charles James

Good suggestions. I will use them. Thanks for the support.
Lynn

You are welcome. Glad to hear that your audience is growing. It should. I think the "Department Of Logic" is the best program in it's time slot in the southwest. Is there any possibility of getting Sen. Cornyn on the program regularly like Hugh Shine does with Congressman Carter?

lynn,
great show this a.m. the great unwashed out here in fly-over country are not aware that they have been thrown into the pot of boiling water that will disolve all their liberties until it's too late.
keep pushing to let us know what we are losing. talk to the ministers, yes many of them are extemely greedy. if you can show them what they will lose if hillary gets into the white house ---money--- you will have their ear!
what the hell has happened to lou dobbs? did cnn throw him under the train? i think he has a keen mind for the real issues we are dealing with.
he could be a good candidate for someone like unity 08.

The more I hear about Duncan Hunter, the more I like the way he reasons.
He has some of the most innovative, sensible, and doable ideas I have heard.
Hunter may be someone we values voters can support with genuine
excitement. -- Donna Garner

Lynn,

I want to commend you for taking the time to express to your audience the awareness of animal cruelty. Your live announcements, your radio commercials for shelters, and your presence at events such as Bark in the Park is noticed and appreciated by many. I rescue animals myself and I actually met you at the Temple Bark in the Park event. I was out there with my two rescued dogs and had the pleasure of meeting your two greyhounds and you lovely wife. You tackle great issues of today and your voice is an extension of many hearts around the state and although I often write thanking you for what you do, I will continue to show my support as you do our military, their mission, and our conservative movement. God bless you Lynn and keep on keeping on.

I have been converted from the numb minded liberal political view since 2002 and you have been instrumental in that conversion and I think you for that. Have the republicans always been this politically correct when it comes to policy action in Washington? Have they always taken a back seat role when it comes to defending their ideology and party? They seem to always take the criticisms and the belittling by the left but never retaliate or stand up for themselves. I hoped they had learned their lessons when they lost the congress but obviously not. The Republican Party has a bunch of limped hand shakers in Washington and throughout our country who are letting it slip away. By not standing on conservative values and not properly representing the citizens who elected them, I see very little hope for the future of our movement. How muck longer can this go on?

Was listening to the news this morning about a few border towns not allowing federal workers access to public lands for the initial work to build THE FENCE.

Yesterday you mentioned some of the border towns were crying about Mexicans not having access in the future to shopping malls and such on this side of the border.

My Solution: Build THE FENCE around the US side of those towns and cities.

Down Side to My Solution: Mexico will within 5 years have more property and it will be on our side of the border.

Lynn,

I've adopted a line my late father used to use. "I'm too ignorant to be insulted." Perhaps it would gloss over a lot of problems. It wouldn't necessarily solve anything. I do agree with you that the ethnic partitioning is "UNETHNICAL".

It's too bad othrwise educated people prefer to go to the lowest common denominator in an effort to rise above their perceived circumstance, extant, non-existant or self-proclaimed.

Regards, in Blissful Ignorance.

input: an aquaintance of mine 5 or 6 yrs. back was a military recruiter who told me that a child given meds for adhd, add, etc. would not be accepted in the military or ever have a gov. job that required a security clearance. also, these meds stunt the growth of childrem 2" to 4" in stature. that's hillary care. we need a preventive system of care.
health care in this country has been hi-jacked for money by the ama pharmaceuticals, & insurance companies & state/federal legislatures.

lynn, since you seem to have access to most of the hijinx in austin, would you pls. consider running for state office? we need folks who will speak the truth on the issues. not someone who blows smoke up our butts & diverts our attention with football/ booze, & babes.

lynn do you think it would be possible to jettison our current crop of politicians? i would like to import the "men" who run australia to help us clean out the rats that have infested this country. i.e. the australian gov. told the muslems to shape up & swear loyalty to the queen, & the parliment or leave now! what did "W" tell us to do--just continue to shop & fly as needed. these guys make me want to puke!
go dr. paul.

Lynn, Let's be reasonable, good ole Newt has some great ideas but he couldn't get elected mayor of Temple. Speaking of conservative values: Looking at the current leadership makes me wonder if this regime has any values at all, conservative or otherwise. The money that is being spent daily on the war in Iraq could pay the insurance premiums for children for many years. There are some things that I don't agree with Mrs. Clinton on, like the democrats stand on illegal immigration, but the concept of "Socialized Medicine" is a term used by you Republicans to demean the Democrats attempt to provide medical insurance for those kids whose families are above the poverty level and can't get it anywhere else. You want the welfare families, that we support generation after generation, to receive help for their children while denying help to the working families. There is no incentive for the welfare families to get off the dole because they couldn't work for minimum wage and afford to pay for the things they are getting free, such as Medicaid for their children, free housing, and free food. Maybe if they could get insurance for their kids, without being on the welfare rolls, it would give them some incentive to go to work instead of having you and I support them. I doubt it but just maybe they would give up that free section eight house, next door to the one I am paying $1,200 per month to rent, and just maybe they would give up that $600 per month in free groceries and the discount on their utilities. Lets not forget the check they receive for each kid that's been diagnosed with ADHD: The more kids the more money. Now if you can logically explain to me why the working family can't have just one of those many free privileges that the non-working families have then I will join you on the right....far right.

Andy,

You've pretty well described the mess the Democrats have gotten us into since LBJ. I could not have written a better explanation of why I am a conservative.

Thanks,

Lynn

Lynn: I'm sure you know our distinguished Senator from Texas, the Rt. Hon. Kay Bailey Hutchison, voted with the Dems to expand the SCHIP program. Why don't you get her or one of her staffers to come on your program and explain their socialists views to her constituents?

Lynn, Come on now lets be realistic: When Clinton was in office he set limits on the time that people could stay on the welfare roles. When Bush came in he changed it back to the old way. And how can you blame the Democrats for anything, knowing that the Republicans have ruled Congress for a decade. I don't know about you but I am middle-class and I am really worried. My retirement income remains the same while gas prices have doubled. I think you and I should form our own party since we agree about everything except what party to belong to. The Democrats want to give the minorities everything and the Republications want to give the rich everything.
Best Regards
