I love your show Lynn, but get over yourself. I agree that McCain is not ideal, but the Republican Party is in such disarray, conservatives would be lucky to have McCain in the White House in 2009. I am ashamed at our party in Congress, they have been weak, spineless ………… we will lose bad in congressional races, because they have lost their way.

I think you need to focus your efforts on getting a VP on the ticket that will lead our Party in the future, and kick some butt on the spineless members of Congress.

It is URGENT that 75,000-100,000 Texas registered voters sign a petition by May 10 to get Keyes on the ballot in November. The kicker is that only persons who did NOT vote in the March 4 Texas primary are allowed to sign.

selection of another to run for office.
The powers to be would most likely select Lierberman (sp). He would be
the obvious choice to be closer aligned to McPain?
So it may be safer to put a few names forward not including Lierberman,
or maybe just say any Republican, which Lierberman is not.

When I clicked on the link, it just took me back to the home page. very good program. i have decided to term limit the politicians that effect me, my family, & my business. as far as i am concerned, the only good politician i deal with is our local sheriff, gary painter. the rest of them are short sighted, lazy, naive & well, plain crooks. that covers everyone from the local mayor, to mike conaway, to tom craddick, our two wonderful senators, his highness, mr. bush. our family has decided to vote against all encumbents.
really neither party has given a damn about the people's welfare since IKE.

Hi, Lynn!

I wish I could give you positive news, but the truth is there doesn’t seem to be. I feel like you and I are a lot alike with our opinions and the way we try to live our lives. I wrote you one time about how Obama said he never heard that while he was in the pews, on TV, to our face. The next Tuesday stating that yes he had indeed heard the statement of the wrong rev wright. If he even had a chance with me, which he didn’t, that blew it right there. I think it is funny that Don Imus had to be broiled and persecuted for making his comment, and yet they didn’t seem as graphic to me. I want a color-blind world! I want freedom of speech! But in my opinion and feelings there are two types of people right now. There are Whites and then there is everyone else. Everyone else can pretty much say what they want, but if you’re a white person you better not even hint at a perceived racial comment. I don’t like this, but even as you stated yesterday, I am an American! Not an African-American or any other prefix-American.

“Why can’t we all just get along.” To bad he wasn’t a better role model.

As is any Thursday in the WSJ, today's Henninger column is a must read.

Also, the best column in today's WSJ is titled In Defense of RINO Hunting.
The title says all. Mindlessly electing Republicans just because they call
themselves Republicans is almost as bad as electing Democrats. McCain had
better remember the sagacious words of Satchel Page, "I never look back;
they may be gaining on me." The Republican base (or core constituency) is
in an ugly mood and we have had enough of "reaching out" to DINOs (Democrats
In Name Only) who are in invested in defeat at home and abroad who are more
Marxist than American. McCain, call your office; or better yet spend an
evening with Pat Toomey!

It is all about greed. The U.S. will suddenly have all the oil it needs when the price is right! Oil men and politicians are in bed with each other. When they can all make a big profit, they will start developing U.S. oil fields. This is exactly why we should never re-elect any politician.

Also, you need to take a tour of your audience area in West Texas. Come out and look at all the new wind turbine generators and all the barren land that can host thousands of additional wind generators, solar panels, new oil and gas fields, pipelines, and most of all, refineries. We also have a lot of land and really nice communities for the labor force to live in. West Texas can easily be the energy capitol of the U.S.

I have absolutely no authority to set one up but I sure would like to meet you and I am sure others would like to too. I listen to you as often as I can and I feel I am more informed because of you. Example … I did not know about the school set up for the insurgents to learn to read an write. Naturally this kind of success story will never be picked up in the major news outlets. I raise cattle and the price of calves have gone down 25%. Also feedlots are selling fed calves for less than before ethanol. What am I saying? Price of food is to high at the grocery store. There is price gaugeing going on.

I'm not sure if you knew this, but there are many other crops (Ex: sugarcane, Even Bush recommended switchgrass, and on the Hippie side; hemp) that give much higher power returns per acre that require less energy to farm, and the entire crop (Stalk and all) is able to be used. I work in the oilfield and they are drilling off of Alaska, just not in the wildlife area. If we want to solve the power problems why don't we go nuclear. They have made many advancements since 3 Mile Island and Chernobyle.
