Lynn, great interview. You should send Brigitte a couple of toothpicks. She just chewed Robert up and spit him out.

Hearing many denouncing the new AZ immigration law because they say
it's federal matter, and it's the job of the feds to enforce it, not the state...
Don't hear them making a fuss though when states also adopt other laws
the feds started..Or when states enforce those laws...
Was it not the feds who made it illegal to have full automatic weapons without a federal license..
And the same with a sawed off shotgun..
So if it's a federal law, the states can not adopt the same law???? Or enforce it because it's a federal law????
Should I legally carry a AR15 in the street, which is just a semi-auto rifle, and a local cop stops me to check if it's a full auto, is that not profiling???
And when the feds enacted prohibition, the local law enforcement did all possible to enforce those laws...
They saw you carrying a mason jar with water, they would stop you, thinking it may be moonshine...
Again, that's profiling...
I can mention counterfeiting..Local law enforces that too..
Many more federal laws out there that states enforce, even if those are not state laws..
So those who say states have no right to enforce a federal immigration law, would they also say those states have no right to enforce any other federal law.?????
And yes, when state law enforcement catch those breaking those federal laws, they call in the feds, but the states still will bust any who break those laws..
I think those who oppose the new AZ law, have put their foot knee deep in their mouth...

Dear Lynn
Competitive Bids can be slanted so only a certain contractor's competitive bid is accepted. Thus corruption can show it's ugly head any place.

Lynn,
I have not been able to listen to you as usual due to Spring Weed and Machinery repairs.
This morning I heard you call to task one of your sponsers as well as one of your radio station owners.
I did not think you had it in you because of your refusual to go against Judge Jon Burrows and his ABSOLUTE violation of our state Constitution funding laws. They are very clear and he with the assistance of our State Attorney General violated them. NO Question about it. It is a total violation of very clear wording just like our American Bill or Rights.

I appologize to you and appreciate you doing what you did.
Regards

Lynn... your talking about people going into the Cowboy stadium reminded me of a correspondence I had a while back with the Dallas Cowboys Merchandising manager about a week ago. You were saying that you would need a ticket to get into the stadium. What if all you needed to do was were a Mexican Cowboys Tee-shirt. YES! The 'boys are coming out with a mexican friendly Dallas Cowboys tee-shirt and I wrote to tell them how offensive that is (correspondence below).

Lynn, I think you should risk your life and limb by proposing boycotting "Cinto De Mayo". Celebrating this event odes nothing for the average American other that encourage excessive drinking. Besides, it is an empty event....who can actually say what the celebration signifies? Celebrating Cinto de Mayo shows how the public can be led anywhere by the media. Lets break the chains and stop advertising and commenting on this event.

SOL,
Your response to Leonard Pitts' race baiting column was, in a word, stellar.
Almost makes me forget that basically you are a pompous, condescending,
arrogant, Marie Antoinette, Longhorn!

By the way, Steny Hoyer has a column in the opinion section of today's
WSJ.......'when it's time to pay the bills we right-wing fascists become a
part of "we." Click on the comments of Steny's column for some real
'scheudenfreude' responses.

Lynn,

A few jokes from Late Night TV that will probably give you a chuckle or 2

1. The liberals are asking us to give Obama time. We agree . . . and think 25 to life would be appropriate. Leno

2. America needs Obama-Care like Nancy Pelosi needs a Halloween mask. Leno

3. Q: Have you heard about McDonald's' new Obama Value Meal?
A: Order anything you like and the guy behind you has to pay for it. Conan O'Brien

4. Q: What does Barack Obama call lunch with a convicted felon?
A: A fund raiser. Leno

5. Q: What's the difference between Obama's cabinet and a penitentiary?
A: One is filled with tax evaders, blackmailers and threats to society. The other is for housing prisoners. Letterman

6. Q: If Nancy Pelosi and Obama were on a boat in the middle of the ocean and it started to sink, who would be saved?
A: America ! Fallon

7. Q: What's the difference between Obama and his dog, Bo?
A: Bo has papers. Kimmel

8. Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road. Letterman

Enjoy!

Thank you for your column in Human Events about the race-baiters. I, too, have had enough of Pitts. The problem is that not enough people have had enough of Pitts, just like not enough people have had enough of Environmental Correctness, Political Correctness, Racial Correctness and all other forms of Correctness.
You note that Pitts writes well and has a Pulitzer. He is in good company. Obama speaks well and has a Nobel Prize.
You write that Pitts has wrote heart-warming pieces about down-and-outers rising above their circumstances. Yes, and 99.9% of the time it's Black People. I have been reading Pitts' columns for years and he has been whining about race, slavery, Jim Crow and everything else for years. The problem is that THERE IS NO SLAVERY, THERE IS NO RACE-BASED DISCRIMINATION EXCEPT AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE AND THERE ARE NO JIM CROW LAWS. Oh, and by the way, there are no lynchings, either.
I have written to Anders Gyllenhal at the Miami Herald several times protesting the foisting of Pitts upon the public. Gyllenhal's replies are always about how courageous, informative and thought/discussion - provoking Pitts' columns are. Personally, I do not find constant harping on what happened to one's ancient ancestors either courageous or informative, and I find Pitts, Robinson and others to be contemptible in their race-baiting and pandering.
People who know better and want better, not politicians but conservative activists, are going to have to find ways to get around the vested institutions, like the NAACP, and reach out to black conservative individuals and groups, like Niger Innis, Tom Sowell, Star Parker, and others to create coalitions to overwhelm the established PC viewpoints in the press and in the schools. Kids have been taught and have read and seen and heard for two generations that WASPS are evil and they should be ashamed and they should feel sorry for dark-skinned people, sorry for the environment, sorry for people who engage in risky behavior and get sick and die.
In other words, there are going to have to be a lot more "Joe Wilson moments". And there is going to have to be a recognition that liars are also cowards. Have you noticed that, for example, when Glenn Beck asks the White House to call his 'Hot Line' if what he is saying is not true, he gets no calls? But The O will go on tour and huff and puff and strut across the stage and pretend like he is taunting Beck, Limbaugh and others?
The example of the Tea Party, where the people get together regardless of affiliation to protest Big Government, is going to have to be followed in protesting Big Race Baiting. Somebody is going to have to put something together to relegate the NAACP and the CBC and Affirmative Action and Miss Black New York City to the scrapheap of history.

Tommy <kindon@sbcglobal.net>

Hopefully the people mad about getting the ID checked never become a truck driver! As a truck driver you can be pulled over at any time for no reason. can be drug tested when you get pulled over. We are required to have our CDL and, medical card on top of bunch more paper work on truck and load. and theres a new goverment program that grades the drivers and companys. as a driver or tickets( on and off the job) criminal background go into a data base and give you a score and may make you un employable. on top of to renew your CDL you have to now go though home land security.. i wish when i got pulled over, i could just prove i was an American citizen....

SOL,
Henninger's WSJ column today is quite profound as it relates to the
under-informed, but for the rest of us it's pretty redundant. We knew back
in '08 that Obama's basic tendencies are KGB, Brownshirts, Kristallnacht,
etc. You know, if things go wrong "round up the Jews," stuff-like-that.
Enemies, real or imagined, are necessary when the objective is to
consolidate power.

Hi Lynn,

Boy, do I agree with you about the wimpy Republicans that will not support the rule of law because they are afraid of losing Hispanic votes. I think that family-oriented Hispanics will more likely support the Republican candidate that stands for good ol' American family values than a Democrat (or Republican) that wants to look the other way while the illegals pour in.

I think perhaps the wimpy Republicans worry that those illegals will be voting, and maybe if the WR's are nice to them, they (the illegals) will cast their illegal vote for them! Law-loving and law-abiding candidates should not be afraid to fight for what is right, protecting our borders and cleaning up the system that allows non-qualified people (dead or alive) to vote!
