Dear Lynn,

Thank you so much for your program. Recently you have talked about a Groundwater Conservation District. If you would like to understand a GCD then look up Chapter 36 of the State Water Code. A GCD has been disguised as a way to protect and conserve our rights and our water. A GCD is nothing more than a means to tax and a way to promote the selling of water. Well intentioned (I use the term loosely) folks will be sitting on this board thinking they are all about protection and they are doing exactly what the state wants them to do. We will be giving up our rights and encouraging the sale of water. When you research you will find that Chapter 36 was written by legislators who are now in the water marketing business. Buster Brown is a name that comes to mind. A GCD has nothing to do with protection; it's about taking away our rights and our money. Our two and a half year GCD is still writing their rules, but they have been able to spend money and buy stuff and hire folks to do nothing and of course TAX.

My second thought is about the 18 billion dollar budget shortfall. Not only are we short in paying our yearly budget, we are also 31 billion in debt. Contact the State Comptroller's Office and ask for a free copy of the "Annual Comprehensive Report for the year 2009". They will gladly send you a copy. The State of Texas according to this report has outstanding 31 billion in bonds. How can we possibly have a balanced budget. Governor Perry led taxpayers to believe that Texas is on stable ground. All along he knew that we were facing a shortfall and that we were deeply in debt. Every person who listens to your show needs to get their free "Annual Comprehensive Report", and then read it. Our own state representative when asked about this debt stated that it was not possible because Texas has a balanced budget. I sent him a copy!!! It's time for voters to wake up and start checking out some of these bogus statements that our elected officials tell.

Once again Thank You,

Debbie

Good Morning Lynn,
You can buy books of stamps at HEB food stores from the cashiers who check you out. They do not make a profit on your purchase like the convenient stores who will sell a single stamp for .50 cents. Now HEBs' lines are not much more forgiving than the post office lines but if you can kill two birds with one stone I say go for it. Welcome back and GODS SPEED!

Lynn, per your observation earlier this morning on the effects of Obama's BP bashing in Britain: there'e another component to this and it affects U.S. national security. Our biggest, most loyal and effective ally in the world militarilly and intelligence-wise is Great Britain. Britain's military and intelligence assests are, in fact, "force multipliers" for the U.S. Damage Britain and/or our relationship with Britain and you effectively damage our defense. I'm not so sure this fact isn't lost on Obama and whoever advises him but I think it's another ominous sign as to what this cabal is trying to do to this country and what it's historically stood for.
One also has to believe Obama's using this accident not only to weaken our strongest ally and our alliance with them but also to punish the oil & gas industry, in general, and impose Cap & Tax on the nation.

Unsigned,

Sean <sean@ooleytech.com>

The main reason the Saudi's are willing to let Israel attack Iran while using Saudi airspace is religious. Saudi Arabia is Sunni Muslim and Iran is Shiite Muslim.

To us, there is little difference, but to them, the other side is almost as bad as being an infedel. It is apostasy.

Since the enviromentalist and a few in congress have forced the oil companies to drill in deep waters where these kinds of problems cannot be taken care of promptly, shouldn't the enviromental movement be fined or taxed or in some way be forced to help pay for the clean up? They are not even down on the coast helping to clean up the animals they say they care so much about. Also, on Barbara Boxers hair, I have commented on it many times. When she comes on the senate floor screaming, ranting and raving about something, and her hair looks like she just crawled out of bed without touching a brush to it, I always say, She's having another bad hair day". Maybe someday when someone really conservative wins an election,
you can play "The House is a Rockin;" instead of "Crossfire" as
program theme music.

I came across a guitar player [in a local band] who really likes
Stevie Ray's music, and it reminded me how much I Love that song
when he started playing it.

Hey Lynn, I choose C.

We need to stay addicted to oil, but also start feeding more on nuclear energy.

When the liberals say they want to stop their oil addiction, they are not even thinking. How would they drive to their office? What about the power for their computers to write those goofy articles?

Thanks Lynn.

Good Morning Lynn -

re: Automobiles & Fossil Fuels

To quote a radio guy in Dallas ..

Cars are used for 2 things.
You are either driving to earn money or
driving to spend money. The car is vital
to our civilization and economy.

Thanks!

Thank you for thinking of me Lynn.

This was a good article. Very informative. I will still support Ron and Rand Paul, regardless of Alex Jones or not.

There are some things I like about Alex Jones, and some things I don't. I believe in a gold standard, legalization of drugs, and near zero taxes.

I do not believe in poisoned water, GM foods that kill, and that the Bush Administration knew about or took part of 9/11.

Thanks again for this Lynn, I'll be listening to the 3rd hour each day! :)

jane <jane254@ymail.com>

I've listened to you for years and I usually agree with you, so this one disagreement I want to register, just for good balance. lol. Wouldn't you agree that a major problem we have in this country is the outsourcing of jobs? Do you not remember Newt Gingrich going around the country giving public speaches with Ralph Nader, trying to convince people NAFTA was a GOOD thing?? (Nader was against it.) WHY would you even WANT to interview this man and let him pretend he's for the good of the country? It ain't logical, Mr. Logic.

Re: Cliff Kincaid on Alex Jones:

Man, there's more than you can ever read. I copied the article by Kincaid and I will read it. However, any referance to Bilderberg is not a "screwball conspiracy theory" anymore than the "Climategate Conspiracy " was. I've been trying to expose the CFR and Bilderberg probably before Alex Jones was born.

Jennifer <im4x@sbcglobal.net>

Concrete ideas for the President: Alternative non-fossil fuels for Air Force 1; White House off-the-grid; natural fiber clothing worn by all members of first family; vacations in the Continental 48; part of the White House grounds turned into vegetable garden and small animal farm to cut down on importing food on trucks using fossil fuels. Don't just punish - set the example.

Lynn, I was a little disappointed that Sara Palin couldn't answer when asked buy Oreilly how she would plug the leak in the gulf. Sara should know that standard Canadian procedure for off shore rigs is always have a second relief prepared before the well is activated. Our only salvation from the raging oil leak is the completion of a relief well.
Seems that drilling a second well would be cheaper than a temporary ban on drilling in the gulf. Since obama want to appear in control and knowledable he should make the second well a temporary requrement since this action actually contains a solution instead of giving the pedulant child answer...no more drilling.
Lynn, I served with a National Guard brigade from the gulf states in Iraq. Some of the soldiers I worked with where not only happy to be activated for a year, but the Army was a high paying job. I get the feeling that the drilling ban will effect these people.
