Hi Lynn,
I listened to your show tonight, 6/17/2010, and let me first say that I agree with you about 95% of the time. However I was a little disappointed and concerned when you gave such short shrift to the last caller regarding Alex Jones. I am not an apologist for Alex but as the caller tire to tell you, Alex's extremism should not cause you to ignore the information he mentioned about plans to exterminate millions of human beings. I repectfuly ask that you research eugenicists like Henry Kissinger Zbigniew Brzezinski, David Rockefeller and Bill Gates and their quotes, in context, regarding depopulation of the earth. Before you just dismiss this information out of hand without reading the information like those gutless zombies in Congress do with the bills that they vote on, check out the information first. Thank you for your time.

Hi Lynn,
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my e-mail.

I agree that he is a fruitcake, but I think you missed my point. I am only suggesting to you not to ignore the information that he talks about during his brief episodes of lucidity. They laughed at Noah when he was building the ark (no one took him seriously either.) I know the comparison between Alex and Noah may be a bit of a stretch but given the contex we live in and the advantage of 20/20 hindsight I think you get my point. Anyway. thanks again for your time and keep up the good work.

It's a little creepy to me that limited government, states rights supporters
demand everyone recite a pledge written by an avowed nationalist socialist.
No one knows who wrote the pledge or what his objectives were. He got the
Pledge popular by working with the NEA and government schools to have it
recited every morning by schoolchildren.

This column appeared in today's Wall Street Journal. Note particularly that this is not conspiracy-theory stuff. This president, however, seems to need "enemies" just as did Stalin, Lenin, Hitler, and Pol Pot...to name a few. The US military is about the only "component" of the federal government with a measurable approval rating and Obama's relationship trends in the direction of treating said military like a stepchild (or enemy). Do the math!

Surely you're all aware of the anomaly of an unemployed ,32 yr -old black man ,living w/ his parents and w/ no job, no headquarters ,winning the South Carolina Democrat Senatorial over a seasoned Democrat veteran.
The Democrat leadership is upset and crying foul & blaming a Republican conspiracy.Ann Coulter retorts that ,if Republicans were indeed, so capable of mesmerizing Democrats to vote for an idiot...then John mcCain ...would be president !

From Donna and Wayne Garner:

The Special Runoff Election between David Sibley and Lt. Col. Brian Birdwell for the unexpired term of Texas State Senator (District 22) is this coming Tuesday, June 22, 2010, from 7:00 A. M. to 7:00 P. M.

To find polling locations, please go to:

http://www.co.mclennan.tx.us/elections/ ... olling.pdf

Our choice is definitely Lt. Col. Brian Birdwell. He is a committed fiscal conservative who values the sanctity of life and the traditional values upon which our country is founded.

On the other hand, David Sibley is a committed “politician” who made over $13.6 Million in seven years as a big-time lobbyist; much of his money was made from the tobacco and alcohol industries.

From Empower Texans (please see article below) and the Waco Tribune-Herald, we learn that Sibley is being supported by Democrat Bernard Rapoport who has given almost $700 thousand to Planned Parenthood of Waco, Texas.

The Washington Times reported yesterday that Planned Parenthod has systematically killed more than 1.8 million pre-born babies between 2002 and 2008.

Why would a pro-abortion Democrat such as Bernard Rapoport be supporting David Sibley who supposedly is a Republican? You can answer that question at the ballot box on Tuesday by voting for Lt. Col. Brian Birdwell.

Sibley Keeping Liberal Company
Submitted by MQSullivan on Fri, 06/18/2010 - 2:13pm.

I was taught growing up that "bad company corrupts good character," and that a man can be defined by his friends. Kind of makes you wonder, then, what David Sibley is doing hanging around with the likes of leftist Bernard Rappoport.

This is the same Bernard Rappoport who has given more than a half-million dollars to Planned Parenthood, and is a major donor to the Texas Democratic Party and Democratic Trust.

Now Mr. Rappoport is supporting David Sibley in the Senate District 22 special election. According to today's Waco Tribune Herald, Democratic voters are getting calls from Rappoport, encouraging them to support Sibley.

Not that they need much encouragement. After all, Mr. Sibley spent almost $250,000 supporting a failed attempt to defeat stalwart conservative State Rep. Doc Anderson (R-Waco). And Mr. Sibley has contributed to far-left Democrats, like Waco's own Jim Dunnam.

Mr. Sibley previously served in the Texas Senate, where he was responsible for creating numerous taxing entities and authored legislation expanding the welfare.

As you might guess, Mr. Sibley has done nothing to disassociate himself from the rabble-rousing liberals despite running as a Republican in this special open-seat election.

Empower Texans and Texans for Fiscal Responsibility has endorsed Brian Birdwell, a strong conservative Republican who -- though badly injured -- survived the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon. He's a decorated veteran and committed fiscal conservative.

(There are two Republicans in this election because it is a "special" to fill the unexpired term of the previous officeholder. It was a four-man race in the first round, three Republicans and one Democrat.)

The special election for the seat will be held this Tuesday, June 22. Turn-out is expected to be low.

Hi Lynn,

The outgoing message on our home answering machine includes "Vote Brian Birdwell for Texas Senate." So friends, family, wrong numbers and telemarketers will be greeted with an endorsement for the most conservative candidate available.

In the past, we tailored our outgoing message to endorse Alan Keyes for President in 2008, Debra Medina for Governor, and Rob Curnock for Congress.

This "bumper sticker on your phone" is so simple, doesn't cost anything, and even people outside the district can still spread Birdwell's (or any other conservative candidate's) name out there prior to Election Day. This is a low-tech option for people who don't blog, don't do Facebook, etc.

It's just a little thing, but I thought your listeners might try this to help influence other voters in important elections. (Yeah, these days EVERY election is important.)

On June 18, 2010, Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl told the audience at a North Tempe Tea Party town hall meeting that during a private, one-on-one meeting with President Obama in the Oval Office, the President told him, regarding securing the southern border with Mexico, “The problem is, . . . if we secure the border, then you all won’t have any reason to support ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’” [Audible gasps were heard throughout the audience.] Sen. Kyl continued, “In other words, they’re holding it hostage. They don’t want to secure the border unless and until it is combined with ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’”

Ester Caldwell <esterlmc@gmail.com>

Just before you announced you would be addressing this subject the next hour, I was reading an article about the fact that Arizona has, in effect, turned over about an 80-mile strip along the border in Pinal County to the Mexican drug cartel. I am totally in favor of the law Jan Brewer has signed and wish Texas would do something similar. At the very least, it would lend our state's support to Arizona.

On a somewhat-related note, I have heard a Bill White commercial stating that Houston was not a sanctuary city under him as mayor. This is contrary to what I had heard in the past; what is the truth? Also, can't we get a true conservative to run for governor? This would likely not be supported in Austin, Houston or possibly even Dallas, but maybe the rest of us could override them - not likely since they have the majority of the population.

Dear Mr. Woolley: Why shouldn't Joe Barton have made his BP comment? Tyrants themselves are never civilized. Furthermore, tyrants never like hearing themselves called tyrants. They prefer to think of themselves as benevolent guiders of mankind. Thanks. Great show today. Yours truly, Blane Monks

Lynn,

I'm sure you've seen the ads for Sibley featuring Grant Teaff, SOS---Save Our Seat. . . I'm sure Col Birdwell probably doesn't have the campaign war chest to allow a quick response to that ad. However, I would love to see his campaign make the point that if Sibley were elected, does that mean he would give preferential treatment to Waco over the other communities in his district? Wouldn't the people prefer a senator that would give equal representation to his entire district, giving his best to serve all his constituents, within the confines of his core values, of course!

SOL,
As you know I consider you a bit of a semi-informed (half-fast) lightweight in Christian doctrine and in Biblical Prophesy, even though you score high enough for membership in the '5% who think' club.

The attached by Shelby Steele in today's Wall Street Journal easily qualifies as a part of your continuing education.

Friends and fellow conservatives, I have just learned that the Libertarians in Texas plan to run a candidate for Governor -- Kathie Glass. She is an attorney from Houston. Here is her website: www.kathie4guv.com

Also, Debra Medina has started an organization: www.wetexans.com

I am very troubled because a third party candidate such as Glass working with Medina might be able to pull votes away from Gov. Perry, possibly allowing Bill White to become our next Governor.

If White were to get elected, he would most certainly replace our excellent Commissioner of Education Robert Scott and also Gail Lowe, who is a superb chair of the Texas State Board of Education. With these people out and Bill White’s liberal-left appointees in place, all the gains that our SBOE members have made to adopt new standards over these last two years would be doomed. The SBOE has recently come through a bruising battle to adopt the most fact-based and patriotic Social Studies standards in the United States; it would be a terrible loss to have Bill White destroy this achievement.

The education establishment would love to have the tax-and-spend Democrats in place because they would most certainly shovel more money into the bottomless pit of the public schools. I shudder to think what a White governorship would do to the traditional values and the healthy economic picture that Texas presently enjoys. We do not want the same thing to happen to Texas that a Democrat-controlled White House and Congress have done on the national level.

Please do what you can to discourage Glass from running for Governor. We do not need to take a chance of splitting the votes, losing the proven leadership of Gov. Perry, and ending up with Bill White as Governor.

Following is a poignant essay by Joseph Farah in which he discusses the tea party movement and the fact that “all issues are social issues.” I believe his wisdom speaks for itself.

I hope you all are going to the polls today and vote for Brian Birdwell. I personally supported Darien Yancy for this position but now it's between Birdwell and Sibley. We don't know everything we'd like to know about Birdwell but we do know about Sibley. He was a liberal in the past and no reason exists to believe he's turned back from his big government past.
Bernard Rappaport's recent endorsement of Sibley should convince anyone who's still wavering.
Let me remind everyone the Waco Planned Parenthood death camp is named after Bernard's wife Audrey. Rappaport is the George Soros of Central Texas.
Please don't take this election lightly, vote today for Brian Birdwell.
Yours for God and country,
Floyd
