Lynn,
I was being serious. I thought you were serious too. Believe what you want to. But you have to admit the Tea Party has a negative connotation in some circles. You and I don't see eye to eye on every issue but I respect your right to voice your beliefs. It seems as if the majority of the Tea Party isn't as accommodating as they could be. Open honest debate is a good thing. It's something Tea Partiers could stand to learn. Actually both sides of the isle could stand to learn that lesson.

Lynn,

I learned something about racism in the service back in the 60's and 70's: a 'racist' is a white that a black dislikes. There's no comeback to the charge.

I did not know beforehand whether or not politicians would turn the prayer rally in Reliant Stadium into a political event, but we all know now that they certainly did not.

Gov. Perry participated with a non-political address in which he read Joel 2:12-17, Isaiah 40:28-31, and Ephesians 3:14-21; and then he prayed (http://www.therightscoop.com/watch-live ... n-houston/). Everything else that occurred over those seven and a half hours was in the hands of the event planners who led genuine praise, worship, and a call for repentance.

The sincere worship of the participants was evident not only to those in Reliant Stadium but to the 80,000+ of us who worshiped through the live streaming of the event.

How could anyone doubt the sincerity of those who spent seven and a half hours asking the Lord to have mercy upon our nation, to comfort the families of our 30 soldiers whose helicopter was brought down by the Taliban in Afghanistan, and to give hope to those who have lost hope.

According to the Texas Rangers who counted the participants, more than 40,000 were in attendance. If you doubt their count, then your eyes should confirm the number:

I do not know Gov. Perry’s heart, but I do know that all of us in times of trouble need to turn to Almighty God. That is what occurred yesterday in Reliant Stadium and all around the country as many in our nation have finally come to the place where we realize we cannot solve our problems without Him. The Lord is our sure and certain Source.

May God be merciful upon us all.

Lynn,

Despite your reservations regarding Rick Perry...and I appreciate they are real and important to notice!... this event in Houston yesterday was a good and needed one. Sending this Update from Joel Rosenberg just in case you aren't on their mailing list. Joel Rosenberg was in Houston and this is his assessment of the day. And it's a good one. I don't remember hearing the story of Dunkirk before and Dobson is right...we need a Dunkirk in America. I haven't felt like I would or could support Rick Perry....but maybe I could, if he is the one running against Obama next November.

Keep up the good work Lynn, I love your show.

Hi Lynn-

I Wanted to bring something to your attention about Rick Perry who I will be supporting if he runs.

He did have a job outside of government----
After he completed college,
He was Air Force for 5 yrs. coming out as a Capt. and then went into business with his father on a cotton farm.He could have learned about business not only on the job, but picked up what knowledge his father had to give him.

Upon graduation, he was commissioned in the United States Air Force, completed pilot training and flew C-130 tactical airlift in the United States, the Middle East, and Europe until 1977. He left the Air Force with the rank of captain, returned to Texas and went into business farming cotton with his father.

I've given much thought to who would be the one for the Republicans to run for the presidency.
It has to be someone who would not only stand a chance against Obama, but would also be of the character to defend the U.S. against outside intruders sneaking into our country from all over the world ,plus the enemies the country has accumulated in the middle east.

I think neither woman Baumann or Palin would stand a chance in dealing with the leaders of the world who are our known enemies.
The leaders of those countries have no respect for their own women as seem by the way they're treated.
That treatment I feel, even if in their thoughts , would be the same the leaders of those countries would have toward any female president.

At this time the U.S. needs someone who is viewed as a strong willed person who will stand behind what he says he will do.
Gov. Perry showed this most recently a few days ago when he did go to Houston for the prayer meet as he said he would.
He knew many would be against it, but he still did it, knowing it could harm him politically.
Some have accused him of doing it for political gain but I don't think so.

If Perry is chosen to run on the Republican ticket, my house will back him in whatever way we possibly can. The country is in dire straits, it will need someone who can wrestle the oval office away from obama who has been the cause of not all, But many of the decisions made recently which ended in doing harm, more harm then the United States has been in for a long time.

Mr Secretary,
Part of your show today really should focus on Obama’s and his Democrat acolytes’ allocating blame to their enemies. This could be done by percentag(es) which will exceed 100%:
Tea Partiers 60%
Republicans 80%
Standard & Poor’s 40%
Corporations 20% (percentage could be higher, but many contribute to Democrats)
Private Jet owners 20% (percentage could be higher, but many contribute to Democrats)
Fundamentalist Christians 15%
FoxNews 60%
George W. Bush 90%
Global Warming 85%
Rush Limbaugh 40%
Carl Rove 5%
Lynn Woolley 35%
Millionaires 10%
Billionaires 11%

craig Barton <craiglb53@yahoo.com>

Why not have the Tea Party have a Congressional inquest as to why we are in the mess we are and what their plans are to correct it. Put them on the hot seat.

They're rioting in Africa. They're starving in Spain. There's hurricanes in Florida, and Texas needs rain.
The whole world is festering with unhappy souls. The French hate the Germans, the Germans hate the Poles.
Italians hate Yugoslavs, South Africans hate the Dutch. And I don't like anybody very much!
But we can be tranquil and thankful and proud, for man's been endowed with a mushroom-shaped cloud.
And we know for certain that some lovely day, someone will set the spark off... and we will all be blown away.
They're rioting in Africa. There's strife in Iran. What nature doesn't do to us... will be done by our fellow man.

Mr. Woolley,

Maybe you should have bought her a TV. Megyn Kelly is not a conservative. If a woman has a kid I believe the should stay home & raise them. Not have someone else raise them. And parents wonder why there kids don't listen to them.

What a lame reason you give.

You had 8 to 9 months to find a replacement for the woman.

Sounds like you were not qualified for the job of running the business.

It is just a typical male view of something he knows nothing about.

RE: OBAMA COULD STIMULATE ECONOMY BY NOT RUNNING

Or ... better still ... why don't YOU resign? Sarah Palin did, so there's your incentive. After ALL, she's a conservative and you say that Obama is a liberal.

Great logic. You base your decisions on liberal on conservative.

Give me a conservative double latte! Give me a conservative can of Campbell's Soup! Give me a conservative BK Double Whopper!

Geeeeez ....
