The first thing Obama will do to replace Justice Souter is find a judge who hasn't paid their taxes.

Side note: Congress is exempt from the income tax!

Not a single Reep voted … That’s why the Reeps will lose more seats in 2010. Americans are trying to cope with the economy and the Reeps just sit on their thumbs. You’re the do nuthin’ party.

The Age of Obama is a cute slogan. But, that’s all you and the Reeps have. All talk and no action – no ideas, no plan, no-no-no-nuthin!

Thanks for the incompetence! The Reeps are Rotting!

Lynn, I think Judge Souter has plans to return to his mother's basement, strip to his tee shirt and start blogging! What a sight.

Mr. Woolley,
Your show is great and I love listening to it. It is my opinion you need to slow down on trying to sweep this flu story under the bed. Please Wikipedia "Spanish Flu" , largest outbreak in the 20th century. It was also swine flu, if you read, the flu in 1917 started out very mild and very few deaths considering the normal amount of deaths from the flu. It was the following outbreaks that proved to be fatal. Just please read up on it. Great show.

Hi Lynn, Well, today I'm as old as you are----and according to you---that's old. Don't think so! I took the day off work in celebration.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you the Obama joke I got on my phone yesterday. It is probably circulating everywhere so you made have heard it already.

It was once said that a black man would be president "when pigs fly". Indeed, 100 days into Obama's presidency Swine Flu

Have a great weekend, Steph

Lynn, isn't flying a 747 over NYC at a low altitude the same as shouting "FIRE" in a crowded theater? I'd like to see some law suits over that.

From Ruth:
(National Day of Prayer)

Dear Lynn Woolley,

Following is the info on the Temple Noon event (last year it was a standing room
only crowd in City Council Chambers) and the Central Texas event
at the Expo Center. We appreciate the help in getting the message out.
Blessings, Ruth Daniel cell 254-718-0002

On April 15, over 2,000 people attended the TEA party in Belton. Surely many
more than that will want to gather to call upon our God in prayer asking for
HIS intervention into the ways that our nation is heading. Many are trying
to block HIM from schools, to limit HIM in government meetings and athletic
events. Efforts are being made daily to block HIS WORD from being heard
around this nation. Please mark your calendars now and plan to join with
others throughout Bell County on MAY 7, 2009 at noon in Temple and at 7pm
at BELL COUNTY EXPO CENTER for THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER. There is
no dress code and all are welcome. The 58th Annual National Day of Prayer ..
Prayer! America’s HOPE is based on Psalm 33:22. “May Your unfailing love rest
upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER Noon Event at the Temple Municipal Building will be held
Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 12:10pm until 12:50pm
The Temple area community is invited to gather shortly after 12 noon near the
flagpoles at the corner of Main and Central in Temple. Area musicians will provide
special music. Mayor Bill Jones will read a National Day of Prayer Proclamation.
Prayers for Central Texas and our nation will be offered by area leaders.
In case of rain we will gather in the City Council Chamber in the Municipal building.

National Day of Prayer Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 7 pm - EXPO Center in Belton
You are invited to a Central Texas Celebration of the National Day of Prayer. Pray at
your area events then come together Thursday evening to celebrate GOD’S answers
at the Expo Center. The Sixth Annual event includes musical groups from Belton,
Killeen, Rogers, and Temple. The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by our soldiers and
Chaplain Ken Sorenson in Iraq! The Shofars will blow a call to repentance in our land.
Killeen Mayor Tim Hancock will read from President Abraham Lincoln’s Proclamation.
Prayers will be led by Central Texas area leaders.

Our keynote speaker, Bishop Satish Raiborde, has a passion to build up families,
children and individuals in the Body of Christ. A builder of hundreds of churches in
many countries, Bishop Satish believes in empowering people to overcome adversity
through seeking GOD’S face in prayer. His website http://www.daniel1132.com
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May,
inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint
resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S.
Truman. In 1988, the law was amended and signed by President Reagan, permanently
setting the day as the first Thursday of every May. In 2008, all 50 state governors
and the governors of several U.S. territories issued proclamations asking citizens
to set aside the first Thursday in May as a Day of Prayer. In 2004 a task force of
citizens from several area communities arranged the first observance of National
Day of Prayer for Central Texans in the Bell County Expo Center.

Last year many people said, “This was awesome, this arena should be filled with
people.” We agree, please join us in praying that the Expo Center is filled with
Central Texans seeking GOD'S help for our nation.

Mr. Woolley
I read and appreciated your comments in the Dallas Morning News article April 21. I've not had the chance to listen in to your radio program yet but plan on doing so. We might possibly be related.
I don't encounter that many with this last name. My dad is Paul Aaron Woolly, his dad was Willliam Alfred Woolly born near Greenbrier, Arkansas. There is now a "Woolly Hollow State Park" there. Then he moved to Abilene Texas then lived near Ada Oklahoma.
Part of our family spells their name as you do. Even my grandmother Georgia Mae Woolley and my uncle Walter Woolley, and therefore his children, spell their names with an "e"

thanks,

Jim Woolly

greetings lynn,
i heard a portion of your show recently,
1)of course the cdc must err on the side of caution concerning
H1/N1 influenza virus. since it is a unique virus we have minimal
immunity to it has the POTENTIAL for a serious pandemic.

2)you misrepresented the NYT article. the poor lady died
because she waited too late to seek medical care. to use
that as a condemnation of Obama's effort to provide med. care
for all americans is ludicrous. lets be serious about this issue.
comparing any such plan to that of a developing country such
as mexico is of course not appropriate. the tragedy is the some
40 million americans with NO health insurance. as a physician
that is not acceptable to me. and if you look at all the WHO
health statistics comparing the US and european countries, we ARE behind. and yet, we spend more per capita on health care
than any country on earth. so our system is inefficient and not
equitable. i favor single payer, because i see clearly that insur.
companies are just a middle man, sucking money out of the system. and of course, the right will yell "socialism" all day long.
i really dont care as long as all people have the basic right of
health care. (besides, we have "socialist" police, and fire, and
highway departments, etc).
so i am optimistic that with a progressive agenda, our country
will move forward on health care under obama.
regards, alan
