Lynn Friday you mentioned that the government procescutors in the Clements case were incompetant. I read a few comments to a blog of this case and one writer suggested that this could of been planned by the lawyers for various reasons such that the jury did not look promising. Lawyers are not stupid, just look at the lawyer in chief!

I think I would like to see a cartoon of Obama with two angels on his shoulders. When Obama makes this statement, “What we need is a demonstration of how we can achieve economic prosperity,” the demon on the left shoulder cries, “HIGHER TAXES!” And because of the example of a certain state being prosperous in spite of Obama, the angel on the right side of his shoulder cries, “HIRE TEXAS!”

If you do not already subscribe to Stratfor's web site access then I strongly recommend it as they do a phenomenal job of providing the most non-politicized intelligence coupled with the cultural and regional expertise of their analysts. I.e., they inform and educate as needed as they provide the info.

I, just as a private citizen that just likes to as informed as possible, pay the subscription out of my personal pocket -- a pocket practically empty pocket thanks to the High Lord Obama and his deft demolition of hope. You, as a talk show host and political analyst could use it even more and probably surprise some folks with the facts filtered out of the news feed. Stuff even missed by the alternative media.

I cannot recommend this to you enough and hope you give it a try. You can sample their stuff just by going to their web site and clicking around. http://www.stratfor.com/

I use the Stratfor iPhone App to watch their video updates when Wi-Fi's available but I'm not at my PC. Also, if you'd like, I can forward links to videos that I consider most enlightening from my viewpoint. Keep fighting -- logically of course!

You sound like the person who says, "I don't know anyone who will vote for Obama." My answer is, you haven't been to Chicago lately. Economic activity is slowly coming back and probably more so in Texas than in Michigan or California. I've always thought some people suffer from "recession fatigue" and spend money in spite of the economy.

I can counter each of your prosperity claims by stating the obvious. We borrow 40 cents of every dollar. We're nearly $15 trillion in debt. We're fighting 3 wars now and still strangled with entitlements. We have a president who supports European-style recession and wants continued spending and higher taxes.

I agree that we are not at the point of Armageddon, and that we have a saving grace -- called the Tea Party. You can put your faith in Bernanke. I'll stick with DeMint and Rubio.
