We never had as many diseases as we had before -- before -- before -- beFORE the Internet and 24 hour cable news networks and talking idiots on TV and radio. WOW! Common sense woulda told you that.

Used to be -- there was no Alzheimer's. Oh, wait it minute, There was! It was referred to as "Old Timers Disease" but that was before the name Alzheimer's became so talked about. Once a disease is named, everybody seems to have it.

THAT is why you hear about recession it and think it is worse -- because the news keeps pounding in. We've had wore economic times in many different generations. But, you THINK it is the first time because you are fixated on it.

All last week, at gas stations, check out counters and Wal-Marts I shopped or visited, not ONE person was standing around talking about Neil Cavuto, Rick Perry or Ben Bernanke.

Ya think you might need to refocus and walk among the real people? Might do you and Ben "Hakim" Barrack some good. The real world is something foreign to those who keep their ears on talk radio, cable news stations and right/left blogs.

Go out into the streets and take your mic. Record interviews for your show. Listen carefully and you won't hear the stuff you fixate on -- because these folks have real jobs or are hoping to get them.

Great show Mr. Woolley. 2 points on Global warming.
1- temperature is risen what 1/2 - 1 deg? Most official readings are taken where? Airports? Most airports have grown a lot. And are in more urban areas less rural areas. Builds & concrete usually raise the temp.

2 & most importantly. Gods I'm control. He gave us all are natural resources & the ability & knowledge to use them. Global warming is just a way for the elite to control the common folk. With the Gullible, naive & non- believers

Dear Editor:

All that is required to balance the US budget to is to refer to Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution and follow it.

A balanced budget amendment is a joke! Congress stood the 27th Amendment (A Congressman shall not receive a raise that he has voted on until after he has stood for re-election) on its ear by voting themselves automatic raises. Congress ignores Article 1 Section 8 (the list of 22 things Congress is authorized to do) , the 10th Amendment (States rights), and the 14th Amendments (due process). Why would another amendment make any difference?

George Washington wrote that when you elect liars and amoral people that do not fear God after breaking their oaths of office you lose your Constitutional protections. Very wise man.

The only way to fix the budget is for us to vote all of the liars out of Congress. I am a proud Tea Party terrorist (thank you, Janet) and all elected liars should be in terror of the TEA Party.

Just heard Mark Belling filling in on Rush say: "America needs to chose their vision: Romney, Perry, Bachman or Palin."
Ron Paul raises $1.8 million dollars just three days ago in 24 hours, this goes unmentioned (everywhere) and Palin who is not running gets fourth mention. There is something seriously conspiratorial going on behind the scenes of corporate controlled media. Even Rush and his appointees dare NOT mention the name that can not be named!
Eventually even stupid listeners will see through this deceit.

Aha! You've made a determination that Presidents and Congress should vote because of polls. That's stupid. If that was the way that governing works, why have elected officials? People would just push a button to vote on every issue and that'd be the way laws and rules were created. Elected officials are elected to perform, not sit around reading polls and acting on them.

Why, golly, gosh and gee! .... If you think that's the way things ought to be - by popular demand and will - then you'd leave the air immediately! Given that an infinitesimal actually listen to your show, that means that you and Ben "Hakim" would be off the air, bound for the Chicken Shack to dip chicken part in flour and throw 'em in the deep fryer.

Matter of fact, that sounds like a pretty good idea.

Why did Obama not lift a finger to help the people of Iran when they stood up to the regime after the election fraud? Iran is America's worst enemy at the moment. Is it because pro democracy rebels would most likely replace the Muslim Theocracy if the regime is overthrown?
Why is Obama backing the rebels in Egypt and Libya against their regimes who have not been a major enemy of the US for quite some time? Is it because he knows the Muslim Brotherhood will most likely rise to power in the vacuum after their leaders are toppled? Just Wondering.
