Mr Woolley, In debates for U.S. Senate I have seen so far Glenn Addison has not been included. Williamson County TParty is endorsing him for that Seat. I was told that he is ignored by the media because he does not have money to appear in these debates. You had Ted Cruz on your show today. How about inviting Glenn Addison on one of your shows? Thanks.

I disagree with this for two good reasons:
1) One breach and all agents die
2) You need a cross check on intel to validate sources

Don't get on board with the attempt to get a REAL candidate to run against Obama, we are GOING to lose. They are already making EXCUSES for him losing!

The Tea Party was a WASTE if Romney is our candidate!

You sound like a whiner when it comes to Romney and the point the woman tried to make earlier. Hour after hour of it really gets old. Maybe you need a guest host for a couple weeks. Take a vacation. Give us all a break.

Something positive about Romney:

I bet he loses with grace and dignity, just like McLame. Won't even wait too long to concede;)

Your callers are dumping on you about Mitt and your
lack of support for same.

I would remind your callers that an Ivy League MBA got
a democrat congress elected in 2006, and was influential
in getting Obama elected in 2008.

That would be Bush 43.

Romney can do for the Tea party in 2014 [and 2016] what
Obama did to the Dems in 2010.

Your callers should be careful what they wish for.

Mitt may not be up the the challenge of the problems
coming his way.

Continue your skepticism.

I think it is time for you to stop bashing Romney and concentrate on Obama. We in Texas did not get a choice on the Republican we wanted to represent us, but we have to do the best we can with what we are stuck with.

Help us beat Obama.

Lynn:
Would you please mention on your show today to the lady that called yesterday from Alpine and said she was going to make a statement and not vote. This is the most important election our country has ever faced and not a time to be trying to make a statement that know one will pay attention to. We need ever vote to get that man out of office. If Obama is re-elected we have only seen part of what is to come. Please tell the people we have to get everyone out to vote for ANYBODY but Obama. Thank you and God Bless.

I am glad to hear the candidate against Carter, he had some really good points. Would like to hear more from him.

Hi Lynn,

I have quite a few thoughts on the welfare situation. I was a teen mom myself & I did not have Medicaid when I had my first child. My child's father delivered pizzas & paid that doctor's bill. I was on my own from the age of 17 working & providing for my child. I have NEVER been on food stamps but I have been on Medicaid BUT I was working & had my own primary insurance & it was only while I was pregnant. My children are & have always had their own private insurance policy...Mind you I have 5 children I supply insurance for.
As for welfare....I think it should be a requirement that in order to receive the welfare benefits you have to have a job. Contribute to the fund & get to use the fund. But now, if you're working but just really can't afford health insurance or food it's the hardest ever to get any help. You're actually better off quitting that job just to get the help. I think it's wrong that it's that way. Shame on us for allowing it to be that way!!

The headline on page one of Saturday’s KDH of 21 April reads: “Weapons found at 3 middle schools. Parents worry about student safety at Killeen ISD’s campuses.” Parents should also worry because it is against State law to allow a child under the age of 17 access to a readily dischargeable firearm without adult supervision (see TX PC 46.13 (b)). Dr. Muller, Superintendent of KISD confirmed in a letter to the KDH editor on Sunday 22 April that all the weapons were guns.

KISD does not provide weapons to students. In fact, they have a strict policy about bringing guns and other weapons to any school campus or facility. They have established gun free zones around each KISD campus. They even have a pro-active weapon reporting and control system in place. I think KISD is doing its’ part to protect students.

Underage students cannot legally purchase weapons from a licensed gun store or a private citizen. So, unless the guns are stolen, chances are the guns brought to school are from the child’s home. I feel parents must take responsibility to control access to weapons in their home, and be held accountable if they do not. Maybe KISD parents should follow President Kennedy’s famous notion, “Ask not what KISD can do for you, but rather what can you do for KISD?”

Please secure your hand guns and long guns in a locked safe or container to which a child does not have access. This is not difficult or expensive. It is the right thing to do and complies with the law. It also would go a long way to help prevent guns on school campuses. More importantly, it might prevent a real tragedy of a child’s death. It might even help all parents (I have adult children working for KISD and grandchildren attending KISD schools) worry a little less. Gun safety, just like a child’s education, is a parental responsibility at its core, and cannot be abdicated without consequence.
