Mr. Woolley,
I wrote simply to say that your show today on multi-culturalism reminded me of a story I was told in the Police Academy that you may find humorous, if not interesting.
My Instructor( a White Male) is the Chief of Police in a town near where I grew up in South Texas. One of his employees, a Hispanic Female, was fired, by the Chief, due to a weapons inspection, in which it was found the officer had so neglected her side-arm that the magazine had rusted into the magazine well, forming a solid piece of steel. It took a chisel and hammer to remove said magazine. The Hispanic Female Officer filed suit with the Local courts, citing "Racial Discrimination" as the reason for her termination.
On the opening day of the trial, the Chief asked the Judge, in light of the Racial Discrimination charges, to be permitted to introduce someone to the Court. His Honor permitted this, whereuopn, the Chief asked his Wife to stand and introduce herself. As the Chiefs' Wife is a second generation American, whos' family came from Mexico, the Judge, laughing as he did it, dismissed the case.
Thought you might find this humorous, although, there are, of course, the implications of "Multi-culturalism" leading to prblems in the worklaec, as well as in our society, but you and I already know that.....
