There is no need to make false charges against Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid – as Reid has done against Mitt Romney. What’s right out in the open is damaging enough.
Reid is pushing NV Energy in Nevada to buy more “green energy” from a Chinese company that Reid helped recruit to the state. But Reid’s son Rory is one of the attorneys for the project – an obvious conflict of interest. Reid already had to self-impose a ban on family members lobbying his office after the Los Angles Times reported on such lobbying by three of his sons. This is the same man – who, twice on the Senate floor, accused Mitt Romney of paying no taxes for ten years. If Reid knows that for a fact – HOW does he know it? Only Romney’s accountants and attorneys, the IRS and John McCain should have had access to the returns. If Reid knows, then an investigation is in order to see exactly how he obtained the information.
