Books - The Death of Talk Radio?

The Death of Talk Radio? by Cliff Kincaid and Lynn Woolley
$9.95 Accuracy in Media, 2007. 112 pp. Fully referenced

A politically-powerful liberal-left movement seeks to silence conservative media personalities. Its vehicle is the so-called "Fairness Doctrine," a federal policy that would authorize bureaucrats at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to monitor and regulate the content of political speech over the airwaves. This book analyzes the threat from the perspective of veteran talk show host Lynn Woolley and media analyst and critic Cliff Kincaid. They demonstrate that, unless the Broadcaster Freedom Act is passed into law, we may be looking at the death of conservative talk radio if the liberals take the White House in 2008.

 Books - Clear Moral Objectives

Clear Moral Objectives
Perspectives of a Texas Talk Host
by Lynn Woolley

$7.95 Eakin Press, 2003. 257 pp. Fully referenced

Finally, here's a book that examines the nation's twelve big challenges in clear, logical terms -- no spin and no parsing of words. Twelve "objectives" are presented here -- each an entertaining, tightly written essay explaining where and why the nation is off course -- and how to get back on track! The book is fully referenced so that it becomes a necessary resource for anyone who's politically motivated.

 Books - Warner Bros. Television

Warner Bros. Television by Lynn Woolley, Robert W Malsbary, and Robert G. Strange, Jr.
McFarland & Company, 1985. 296 pp. index.

It all started at a friend's house years ago, when several fans of early TV gathered to watch old 16mm TV prints. The Warners shows were the best, and talk began of doing a book. The result was a history of the Warner TV Studio that includes information about the major WB series such as "77 Sunset Strip" and "Maverick", dozens of TV stills, and complete episode guides to the Warner shows.
(Sorry, but Warner Bros. Television is out of print, and is not available from us. You can often find copies for sale at www.abe.com)
