If you haven’t looked up the term PONZI SCHEME following the Republican debate – we can help. It’s a fraudulent operation that pays returns – not from actual profits –but from money paid by new investors – and requiring an ever-increasing flow of money from investors to keep the scheme going.
At the debate, Rick Perry did not back down from his contention that SOCIAL SECURITY is such a scheme. The Governor is taking heat for this – but only because it’s considered a “third rail” to tell the truth about Social Security. The government borrows from the plan, replacing dollars with I-O-U’s. And unless American women keep having lots of babies, or we keep increasing immigration, there won’t be enough new “investors” to keep the program solvent. Under what possible definition is this not a Ponzi Scheme? Governor Perry is right. The real question is – what would he do about it? Join me online at Be Logical dot com.
